This poem uses rhyme and alliteration to view a cyberbully from a peer’s point of view. It highlights how bullying online is senseless and ends friendships.

Cyberbully”
By Kia West

My friend’s a cyberbully
They say mean things online
As for why they do it?
I really can’t define

Perhaps it gives them power
Inside their little world
But is the impact worth it,
For all the words they hurled?

Sticks and stones may hurt you
But words have power too
When you’re mean to others
It just reflects on you

My friend, the cyberbully,
They haven’t changed their ways,
But their days of being my friend?
Well that was just a phase.
