“December Holidays”
By Kia West

I can’t wait for December
It’s my favourite time of year
The holidays are coming
I’m filled with Christmas cheer

My friend Felix feels the same
He’s counting down the days
It’s Hanukkah he celebrates
With candles all ablaze

My friend Terry’s family
Come from far and near
To celebrate for Kwanza
To finish off the year

No matter what you celebrate
Or if you don’t at all
I hope that this December
You really have a ball!
