“I have the Perfect Puppy”
By Kia West
I have the perfect puppy
He likes to push and pounce
When he races down the hallway
His bottom does a bounce
He is a little angel
He’s cuddly and cute
And when I catch him sleeping
I want to boop his snoot
My furry little baby
Has these big brown eyes
When he pees inside the house
I can’t make myself chastise
Poetic Devices:
Alliteration
Rhyme
Metaphor
