“Lulu the Frenchie”
By Kia West

Lulu is my brother’s dog,
she has a face just like a frog,
she isn’t very well-behaved,
but Lulu has my heart enslaved

Lulu likes to chew on tables,
Shoes and toys and electric cables
I really can’t be complementary
About her face, she is a Frenchie

Lulu gets tired from exploring
In her sleep, you’ll hear her snoring
And from her butt, there comes a stink
That makes my poor eyes cry and blink

The star of poem: Lulu the Frenchie

Lulu is a real dog and she is owned by Kia West’s brother and sister-in-law. She likes to get up to mischief and is incredibly lovable when she does. Lulu loves to chase toys and leaves, annoy her older cousin-dog, Charlie, and run away from anyone trying to catch her. She also has a history of going to the bathroom inside the house…Sometimes on beds and couches.

The last couple of lines do not lie, Frenchies have super stinky farts and Lulu is no exception. Even as a little puppy, her stinky butt could clear a room in seconds.

Like most Frenchies, Lulu does have a very squishy looking face, making the simile comparing her to a frog very appropriate. Lucky for her, the vet was successful in completing a nasal passage surgery that has improved the snoring mentioned in verse 4.
